Why not just use vinyl? Vinyl printing has notable drawbacks including difficulty adhering to textured surfaces, susceptibility to damage, and fading due to moisture and sunlight. It's costly, environmentally unfriendly, and challenging to remove without damaging underlying paint. Conversely, our direct-to-wall technology can be applied to any textured surface, is damage-resistant, and not affected by environmental conditions. It's cost-effective, eco-friendly, and easy to remove with two coats of paint or primer.
How long does it take to dry? Our direct-to-wall technology cures instantly with powerful UV lights.
How about dark surfaces? Our direct-to-wall technology can be used to apply vibrant images on dark surfaces.
What if my surfacel has obstacles (plugs, switches, pillars, etc)? Each surface is unique, and the specific layout of your wall and any obstacles in the way - such as light switches, plugs, internet jacks, electrical panels, cracks or damage, windows, etc. will all take a unique approach.
What's the maximum size? What kind of margins does you have? Virtually infinite height and infinite length. Our margins start at about 12 inches from the floor, up to 12 inches from a ceiling. For horizontal margins, we recommend a minimum 4 inch margin from each wall corner.
Is the final product damage resistant? Yes! Our direct-to-wall process is damage resistant. Unlike vinyl, which is a layer of plastic that gets adhered to the surface and will start to peel away from any nicks, cuts, or dings that get put into the surface of the wrap. Our special direct-to-wall process is cured instantly to the surface. The direct-to-wall process does not prevent damage from occurring on your vertical surface, any significant damage to the surface can transfer to the product. But this damage will not compromise the integrity of the rest of the finished surface which allows for easy touchups if needed.
How easy is it to clean? Can I use cleaners and solvents? Our direct-to-wall process has a very strong resiliency. You can use anything from wet wipes, isopropyl alcohol, Simple Green, soap and water.
How long does it take to? Our process is incredibly quick, most are completed within a few hours!
